Alex james ellison
Alex is an actor, musician and writer based in London. He has worked extensively in the performing arts industry after training at both the BRIT School and Mountview Academy of Performing Arts.
In Summer 2019, Alex wrote, directed and starred in the sell-out production of Fiver at Southwark Playhouse which recieved multiple award nominations including Best Off West End Show at the WhatsOnStage Awards. The cast were reunited for a live streamed concert version of the show and the subsequent live cast recording went to no.1 in the iTunes Soundtrack Charts.
He has released multiple records as an solo artist and has toured all over the country as well as headlining solo shows at Proud Camden, The Finsbury, Crazy Coqs and Southwark Playhouse.
Alex won London based competition, Pride's Got Talent and as part of his prize, performed on the main stage in Trafalgar Square at Pride In London. He also went on tour with Les Miserables film star Samantha Barks, supporting her UK dates.
Alex has collaborated with many other writers including Tom Lees (Apartment 40C), Robert Gould (My Land's Shore), Joe Sterling and Bruce Breakey (Good Health Good Wealth).
