VIKKI STONE
Vikki Stone is a multi award winning comedian, musician and composer who as performer has appeared on the likes of Richard Osman’s House of Games, The John Bishop Show and the children’s BAFTA award winning Ten Pieces, for which she wrote this year. Her writing work also includes Southbound, launched with Adam Kenright at The Other Palace, the UK revival of High Fidelity, Aladdin for The Lyric, Hammersmith and #zoologicalsociety for The Royal & Derngate, Northampton which premiered online in 2020.
“The Something Else” and “Marvin” from #zoologicalsociety were respectively nominated and shortlisted for the 2020 and 2019 Stiles & Drew prize for Best New Song. Vikki has also written two classical works; a mass choral piece commissioned by The National Youth Choir of Great Britain which premiered at The Royal Albert Hall, and Concerto for Comedian & Orchestra, which premiered at Glastonbury and was described by The Arts Desk as “Something of a masterpiece”.
